On August 29th, we kicked start our Volunteer Day initiative. A special day that brought together our passionate volunteers through both virtual and in-person meetings.  

This first gathering was focused on planning the upcoming Pink October month, a time dedicated to breast cancer awareness and education. 

The session was incredibly engaging, with volunteers actively participating in discussions on how to organize the awareness day effectively. We explored key strategies for identifying and securing resource persons and forming partnerships that will help amplify our message and reach. 

Volunteers shared valuable ideas on outreach, event coordination, and community engagement, all aimed at creating a meaningful and impactful Pink October celebration. The enthusiasm and commitment displayed during the meeting were truly motivational. 

To maintain this positive momentum, we will continue to hold volunteer planning sessions every Friday at 1 PM. These weekly meetings will serve as a platform for collaboration, updates, and fine-tuning our plans as the event approaches. 

Together, we can make a significant difference by raising awareness, educating the public, and supporting those affected by breast cancer.
